2014 Stockholm Statement on Water 2014: Sustainable Growth

2014-08-31

Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) has produced five films designed to enhance the understanding of the centrality of water in building resilient societies of the future. This second film is about water and sustainable growth. The vast majority of all freshwater withdrawals is used for commercial purposes and is critical for the manufacture of most everyday items and almost all services. A dedicated SDG on water will help incentivise efficient and wise water use amongst actors, contributing to sustainable economic growth and prosperity. #MakeWaterThePriority. #water4growth
